Oct 10 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am
We’ll check in on how Sugarloaf’s diverse habitats have fared since the October 2017 wildfires, almost exactly three years ago. How have these wild places responded? What are the short, medium and long-term effects of fire on our local ecosystems? What have we learned about how to live with fire, three years later? Led by Certified California Naturalist Carolyn Greene, we will walk 2-3 miles beginning at the White Barn parking lot.
Please wear sun protection, sturdy footwear and bring water, snack and your mask. Registration is a donation of $5 or more and limited to 12 participants. Parking fees and soclal distancing apply.
